Yet also, looking at this more in depth, I would say that it is not really necessary to separate, as through the entire image, the hair seems to "meld" into everything in the image.. into the guitar arm, and into Die himself, so there really is no "need" to separate the guitar from the hair.. as it sort of all melds together in a very nice way.. as if everything is "one" like he, himself, the music, all of it are one with each other.. ^_~. <3 <3
I think we are all our own worst critics, and no, you are NOT the only one hon.. I have images from way back, that now since I am progressing, I want to take them ALL and revise them.. Yet.. I have to say.. that I am totally in love with this image.. I am hoping this will be entered into the contest in the group!! This really is truly amazing.. I love it!!
[if you feel compelled and you feel that you MUST edit something, if anything.. and only, I would only say that maybe a little more definition to separate the hair from the guitar since they are both red, maybe a little more shadowing and highlights to the guitar and some faint outlining to define and separate the two]
Because scanners appear to flatten images, and therefore any definition and dimension that's apparent in the art itself is wasted when the image is scanned? Just a thought. You know it's still beautiful, really.
